Each year, the NJFSEC awards scholarships to New Jersey resident mortuary school students. Scholarships are based primarily on academic performance and a strong commitment to funeral service rather than financial need.
Eligibility
All applicants must be New Jersey residents and registered in a mortuary science program. Applicants who are beginning or continuing mortuary school during the fall of 2013 semester are eligible for consideration.
Application
To be considered, a completed scholarship application, along with all other required documentation as stipulated on the application form, must be submitted. All applications must be received in the NJFSEC office by the close of business on June 28, 2013. Please see the scholarship application for additional submission details.
